Web 2.0 Library 2.0

Web 2.0 Library 2.0
I've read a few of the articles and can see how Web 2.0 features can become Library 2.0 features - helping libraries collaborate, improve resource sharing and communication. One author mentions adopting web features e.g those used by Amazon & Google and that libraries should welcome submissions of reviews etc. I think we already do! However I often see on various blogs, forums, reviews etc that the comments section is often zero. Maybe we have frameworks but only a small section of society are ready to use them yet.
One author talks about getting rid of "just in case" print collections - I agree that we should prune the print collection as some forms of information are better served in electronic format - but the important thing is to include all the community - which means keeping print formats along with electronic!
